Beacon report

Happy Thanksgiving to all of MVUS.

I can hear the beacon this morning, but it is just barely sticking its signal up above the noise.
The temperature was somewhere South of 30 degrees when the sun came up.  Right now it is 30.6 and dew point is 25 degrees.

My forty meter dipole bent, then broke at the center in the wind of this past Saturday.  It is not a great tragedy, nor will it be a hard job to repair.  I put it up, expecting it to break.  I now know where to add a couple of inside tubes to re-enforce the element.  Since I put it up, I have bought a YagiMechanical software package and will analyze it before putting it back up.

I hope you all have a great day. With tongue firmly in cheek, I leave you with this helpful tip on how to ensure a harmonious Thanksgiving when all the family are gathered.  Ad Prozac to the stuffing in the turkey.

Hi Dave...

Spending the day with the in-laws, will likely need more Prozac than could be rationally mixed into just the stuffing.

Happy Bird Day!
