"I find myself traversing the delicate balance between tradition and innovation, recognizing that these seemingly opposing forces can coexist harmoniously to create something new and profound." Congdon states "This synthesis allows me to respect the handcrafting process and the tactile beauty of mark-making while embracing the boundless possibilities offered by modern technology." Congdon was trained as a classical sculptor in Italy and translates this influence to their 2-dimensional work.

June 9, Roark Congdon
