Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end  time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter:        Chris Burris

Observers:        Dave Brown, Keith Sealy, Tom Bolohan

Visitors:
A few visitors today. Thanks to Chris, Dave, Keith and Tom B for todays
count.

Weather:
Great winds from NE but very low overcast and high humidity kept the flight
from going today. Temp started at 17C and got to a high of 21C.  Drizzle
for first hour and a half before the ceiling lifted to about 700m and the
skies brightened up.

Raptor Observations:
Not many birds today but a smattering of species including a nice adult
male N. Harrier and a Merlin that came screaming across the field right
towards us on the viewing knoll.  A few Osprey and Kestrels on the move
today as well and a young Broad-winged Hawk.

Non-raptor Observations:
Lots of passerines again today with some pretty good variety.  Please see
the associated eBird checklists we submitted for details.

For those interested in Monarch Butterfly numbers... we had 30+ today but
most were moving when the sun came out finally.

Predictions:
Tuesday they're predicting decent NE winds again at least into the
afternoon at which point the winds are forecast to go straight E which is
OK as well.  It'll be a better day for a mix of sun and cloud so hopefully
that'll get a few more birds moving.
