world is warming. Snow and ice are melting, water will in no time flood the
canal, plants will bloom and soon, air conditioners will hum to the tune of
"shiver me timbers."
Global warming is real and inevitable this time of the year and the warming
effects will accelerate as the year wears on toward summer. This is
indisputable fact.

I shoveled out my boat just now, and I am officially ready for boating
season. Monday I'll call Canal Corp and see if they'll send me water.
But seriously, the past few days of melt have cut the snow pack in half ...
so I am increasingly sure there will not be the usual spring floods on the
canal this spring.
