Hi All, Once I enter Canadian waters I have a feeling that my cell phone and Verizon doggle for my computer will-be on Roaming charges--How do you all communicate on a budget?

What type of fees/use permits are part of the Champlain Canals or all the other Canadian Canals-is there a seperate fee for mooring along the Canadian canals?

You have to call Verizon for current information.  My recollection from
summer 2011 was adding Canada for voice was relatively inexpensive, but
data was priced for truly rich folks.  We used Rogers Wireless for data
from Trenton to Thassalon with usable coverage at least 75% of the
time.  If you use Rogers be warned that they turn off your service 30
days after you make the request.
