storytelling circle featuring indigenous artist Hope Sandstrom. *
On June 7th, from 12-1:30pm, Hope, an artist of Puyallup, Quinault, and
Aleut descent, will join us at Mi Centro to talk about her journey as an
indigenous artist and showcase her coloring book, It’s Cool to be Native.
Participating youth will receive a free copy of It’s Cool to be Native to
color and draw in throughout the event. Families will have opportunities to
participate in an engaging and casual storytelling game. Snacks will be
provided courtesy of Mi Centro. This is a free and family-friendly event.
