Explore Tacoma’s Creative Side at the Spaceworks Tacoma Public Art Walk – June 18
Tacoma, WA – Downtown On the Go (DOTG), in partnership with Spaceworks Tacoma, invites the community to experience the city’s streets as a canvas during the Spaceworks Tacoma Art Walk, part of the 2025 Walk Tacoma Series. The free, one-hour walk will take place Wednesday, June 18, from 6:00–7:00 p.m., starting at Theater on the Square Outdoor Plaza (917 Broadway) in downtown Tacoma.
This special walk highlights the role of public art in reimagining urban spaces and building community. Participants will hear from the Spaceworks Tacoma team and featured artists about how murals, installations, and creative activations have transformed once-vacant storefronts and overlooked corridors into vibrant expressions of culture and identity.
The walk is free and open to all ages. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and arrive a few minutes early to check in. The route is accessible, with pauses to learn about individual artworks and hear directly from the artists and organizers behind them.
The 2025 Walk Tacoma Series is made possible thanks to the generous support of Multicare, our Presenting Sponsor, and a dedicated group of volunteers and community partners.
