Good Sunday afternoon.
I trust you all had a great Thanksgiving with great food, family and friends.
Leona and I were out of town last week and when we drove into LSR yesterday we were met with lights, lights and more lights.
Today, more lights and festive decorations are being put out. You can definitely feel the excitement in the air, see it in the smiles on faces and by the festive lights that are appearing each day in our neighborhood. It is the most wonderful time of the year.
Two great things are happening in the next few weeks. First I want to make sure you mark your calendars for Saturday Dec. 14th, Santa will be at the park. 10:00 am. Yes the man, the myth, the legend. More to come from Patty on this special event.
Second, to help celebrate and recognize those that work so hard on the decorations, LSR HOA is sponsoring a contest to include the best decorated house and the best overall decorated street. For the last two years, April Dawn has been given the honors for best decorated street. Congrats to them. They earned it.
However, April Dawn, your bragging rights could be coming to an end as it definitely appears that more homeowners are decorating this year. Many have already joined to make their street the best street in the neighborhood.
So get your jackets on, dig out those lights and wreaths and put the final touches on your decorations.
We ask you to have those finished by Monday, Dec. 16th. The judges will be driving through our neighborhood with announcement and placement of signs to follow by the weekend.
The best gift you can give anyone this year is your time. This holiday season, spend time with your friends and family creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Most of all, be safe, enjoy the holidays, stay warm and share a smile.

Dear HOA,
Christmas lights and decorations continue to warm our beautiful neighborhood. The front entrance looks great!
With that said, we would like to share something new and strange that happened at our front entrance this year. Everyone with small children may have noticed, what we thought, was an added decoration between the front entrance and exit gates (Middle area). We were not sure where this first time decoration came from?
However, upon investigation and confirmation, we are happy to share that Santa left his special "SANTA'S NORTH POLE EXPRESS" mailbox as a way for all the wonderful children of Limestone Ranch to share their Christmas wish list with him. The instructions, although vague, for the children were as follows:
Dear Children,
Ho Ho Ho and Merry Christmas!
Place your wish list with your name and address into my "SANTA NORTH POLE EXPRESS" mail slot before Christmas to experience warmth and cheer.
Do it quickly for time is of the essence.
Blessings and Good Tidings to All
And Merry Christmas to All
Santa
Let's see what happens....
