Community Garage Sale  March 17th 8-1:00
Julia Moore and I will be posting signs within the neighborhood as well as
on the frontage road leading people in.  We are looking for the signs that
were used last year.  Please contact me if you have them.
We will advertise on Craig's List.  If you have specific items which you
want to advertise (ie: baby items, sports equipment, etc.,) you should make
a separate advertisement as well.  This will draw in more buyers and make a
bigger impact.
Cover or hide items you don't want people to see.
Neighborly preview only on Friday, the 16th around 6:00
Gates will be opened at 8:00 on Saturday morning.

Easter Celebration March 24th 1:00
Come join the fun and lunch at our Park Pavilion.  We're working on
securing a couple of food trucks and ice cream or shaved ice, too.
There will be 2 egg hunts with prizes.  One for the little guys and one for
older kids.  Last year, we had a great turn out and I hope the weather
cooperates this year to make it more fun!
If you'd like to help organize this event, please contact me.  The more the
merrier.

Hi Bill and all interested in the garage sale---

If the garage sale is not that weekend, we run into the weeks around Easter.  After that, there are so many families who are involved in spring sports, end of the school year activities (senior activities, prom, etc), as well as Fiesta events, Mother's Day, etc.  These have been problems in past years and have prevented many from participating.

Last year's garage sale was the second Saturday of spring break and we ended up with a great turnout.  It is just so hard to find a perfect weekend during the spring but we did want to offer this opportunity to the community.  Of course, another sale could be done in fall if someone wants to get it organized.  There is no limit on how many times this can be done as far as I know.

All input is welcomed as is help with organizing and planning.  Last year the garage sale brought out a lot of neighbors and became a fun event, a huge side benefit I think.
