Destiny City Music Collective and Center for Spiritual Living present Roots and Wings - a performance of contemporary music based on folk and indigenous music from around the world. We have arrangements of music by Bela Bartok for guitar and violin, based on Eastern European folk songs, variations on a Turkish and Japanese song, a wonderful piece for flute and guitar drawn from American folk traditions, a beautiful arrangement of a song by Argentinian composer Astor Piazzola and more. The performance is on Sunday at 2 at CSL in Tacoma, and it will also be live streamed at bit.ly/destinycitymusic.
