We are ready to leave for Ensenada and parts north, but our water maker
needs a little attention. One of the plugs, or maybe it is a zinc, is
leaking. It is on the high pressure side of the pump. Hal and Bob are off
to the marine supply store as I write this. We walked around town last
night, and had dinner. I also found some Mountain Dew in a store in the
mall. What a treat, after more than a month of not having any. The only thing
is that it is not diet. I drink diet, not for the low calories alone, but
for the tarter taste. It will not be long now until we get to San Diego,
and all the diet soda I want. We will leave here as soon as the water maker
is back online. Maybe by 10:00 at the latest. Worst case we would fill up
on water and we should be fine to the states. We almost enjoy fixing the
few things that go bad on a trip like this.
