Poetry Workshop
Featuring the Echology Project and Poetry in the Park Poets with Jennifer Preston Chushcoff

Gather around a table with a diverse collection of local poets of all backgrounds, experience levels, and ages (middle school & up).

A fun time creating and performing collaborative poetry under the inspired coaching of Tacoma based publisher and acclaimed poet, Christina Vega, a passionate storyteller who values community engagement and tries to live a life filled with curiosity and quality. Christina is a freelance writer, podcaster, video producer, and author of Still Clutching Maps, a poetry collection that explores ideas of language, power, and place as they inform a person’s ever-evolving identity. In addition, Christina is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served six years as a Chinese-Mandarin Linguist after earning a degree in anthropology.
