They can fix it it with reprovisioning and lower the number of customers on a segment. That said, it could be a hardware problem that is causing the problem too. Provisioning is a much simpler problem (traffic overload/performance monitoring) to identify and if they have not determined that already then it is likely other problem. Working at the park we did notice a spectrum truck. I will say that Fiber optic service is definitely much more reliable. I just wish we had alternatives to GVTC. Like AT&T fiber or Google Fiber much cheaper!!! 1 GB is 79-99. My coworkers have it in San Antonio.

Here is a link explaining the possible reasons. I used to be on spectrum but went to GVTC for more sustained consistency. That is the advantage of fiber at pretty much the same price for the similar but more consistent speed. 250 Mbps works just fine for pretty much anything!
