1/21  Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center.  10am-1PM.  sunny, 24F,
mid-tide rising, even though much of the marsh is frozen over.
The marsh was busy with many fly-over flocks ( Black ducks, Brant, Canada
Geese) even though much of it is frozen. The few open spots invited the
Canada Geese, 8 Buffleheads,  4 Mute Swans, 16 Gadwall, 18 American Black
ducks and 1 Common Loon further out.  A Northern harrier and 1 Coopers Hawk
scattered the many birds at the feeders.
On the grounds & feeders:  6 White throated sparrows, 4 Song sparrows, 1
American Tree sparrow,  about 30 House sparrows, 2 Mockingbirds, 4 Northern
Cardinals, 2 White breasted nuthatches,  2 House finches, 3 Tufted Titmice,
6 Mourning doves.
