Hi  John -

Stability  (comfort) is one big reason for choosing cats over monohulls, and
since  there's ongoing debate on the relative merits of each I'd like to take
a  poke at dispelling this popular myth of the monohull side.

When  we first became acquainted with our paravanes they were indeed a hassle
and  dangerous and required both of us retrieve them. But we quickly  figured
out a few modifications and procedural changes and now they are  safe and
easy to launch and retrieve single-handed; no reliance on power of  any kind.
Just Armstrong power!

Regards,

John
