The report includes highlights of programming supported by Tacoma Creates, examples of how this public funding supports cultural sector sustainability and growth, and how Tacoma's cultural organizations contribute to a vibrant and healthy community. A few key highlights: * $4.5 million was distributed to 56 local non-profit organizations whose missions are to advance arts, culture, heritage, and/or science * Funded organizations provided over 1,100 cultural programs and events for our community, and counted a combined total of over 1,000,000 participants * More than 1/3 of all programming was focused on youth education * 78% of all Tacoma Creates-supported events were free for all participants View the Tacoma Creates Annual Report by visiting our website: www.tacomacreates.org<http://www.tacomacreates.org>.
