Thanks for the correction, Fred! I am no authority on why the Beneteau may be special. I am supposing the marketing folks at Beneteau want to promote the boat as a good cruising boat, good for the Great Loop and other objectives. Much like the Nordhavn circumnavigation a few years ago, this is a marketing strategy.
