Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsBill,
I'm curious, this looks like any other boat ... what is significant about
this one?
By the way, you have 2 dots in the ..com and gets ya a 'file not found".

I received this from Steve Willett late yesterday:
This is from the Benetau site:
"Audiences interested in following her journey can participate in the
expedition with Beneteau and its partners at
http://www.thegreatestloop.com/www.TheGreatestLoop..com and on
Facebook at
http://www.facebook.com/TheGreatestLoopByBeneteauwww.facebook.com/TheGreat
estLoopByBeneteau."
Steve Willett
Thanks, Steve!
Bill
Thanks for the correction, Fred!
I am no authority on why the Beneteau may be special. I am supposing
the marketing folks at Beneteau want to promote the boat as a good
cruising boat, good for the Great Loop and other objectives. Much
like the Nordhavn circumnavigation a few years ago, this is a
marketing strategy.
