Weather:
Temps ranged from 21C to 28C with high humidity. Winds shifted from NW to W
to SW around 10-15 km/h during the count period. Cloud cover began at nil,
up to 60% by mid-morning, and down to around 30% by the end.

Raptor Observations:
A Northern Harrier – the first of 5 – started off the season, with some
American Kestrels (6), a couple Ospreys, and an E-to-W (non-returning)
adult Bald Eagle.

Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors were fairly plentiful (but passerines were often skulking).
They included: Canada Goose, Ring-billed Gull, American Crow, Blue Jay,
American Goldfinch, Northern Flicker, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Northern
Cardinal, Cedar Waxwing, Mourning Dove, Baltimore Oriole, Song Sparrow,
American Redstart, Least Flycatcher, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Ruby-throated
Hummingbird, Indigo Bunting, Eastern Towhee, Eastern Kingbird, Killdeer,
Chestnut-sided Warbler, Bank Swallow, Brown-headed Cowbird, Rock Pigeon,
Blue Jay, Cliff Swallow, Barn Swallow, Great Blue Heron, Chimney Swift,
Yellow Warbler, Cape May Warbler, Downy Woodpecker, Belted Kingfisher,
Double-crested Cormorant, and Magnolia Warbler.
