Ron;
The Syrian fuel price I'm referring to at:
http://www.emyr.org/eng/diesel.htm
is 36-cents a litre, or $1.37 a gallon. Where did 60-cents a litre come from? The closest country to that cost is Egypt at 59-cents a litre.
Where can we find the price in Venezuela? Now, let's order that mini-tanker.

No. Hollywood
I just took one of the blue (2006) prices (Egypt) and rounded off. I should
have used Syria, although the likelihood of putting in there versus Egypt
isn't high.
A fellow in Trinidad verified the Venezuela price that I had heard on the
news. It may be a toss-up which is more risky for a US flagged vessel -
Syria or Venezuela.
