The weather has made a turn for the better for the birds and birders. Dry weather and south winds has brought in some new birds.

At the tip was a Cerulean Warbler, Sedge Wren, Grasshopper Sparrow, Black Scoter, and a Pileated Woodpecker. The Woodland Nature Trail was productive with Hooded Warbler, and Red-headed Woodpecker, while Woodland and Tilden Woods had Yellow Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Ovenbird, Common Yellowthroat, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and a few Blue-headed Vireos.

Other birds seen in the park this morning are Black-and-white Warbler, Northern Parula, Blackburnian Warbler, Northern Waterthrush. A lot of spring arrivals were active in the Marsh Boardwalk area as well.
