Hey potters and pottery enthusiasts: The Tacoma Community College Clay Club would like to have you over for pizza and a movie. ................................................... So those kilns.....good for anything other than clay? Yep. They moonlight as high-fire pizza ovens. :) The Clay Club will provide the basics (dough, sauce, cheese), please bring a favorite topping or two to share. Watch and Learn Not to worry, it's not just about food, it's also a bona fide ceramics experience. We'll be screening a couple of pottery documentaries - two 20 - 45 minute films. Titles tbd but it'll be a great chance to see some new techniques and learn a bit. *When:* Saturday, November 17 1:00 - 1:45 first film 1:45 - 2:45 kiln fired pizza + clean up 2:45 - 3:30 second film *Where:* TCC Building 5, in the sculpture studio (films) and kiln yard ( pizza) *What to bring:* your non-alcoholic beverage of choice, pizza toppings.
