Subject: Fwd: Call for stewards for the Summer Solstice dog shows in Cambridge, MN June 20-23, 2013

The Anoka/Cambridge Summer Solstice shows are right around the corner and we are looking for ring stewards. You have graciously offered to help in the past and we hope you can help again this year. Each year we receive many complements from our judges on the professional stewards that we provide them. We look forward to you helping us once again. It certainly makes our show go smoothly.

Please e-mail us back as soon as possible at:

mailto:summersolsticestewards@gmail.com summersolsticestewards@gmail.com

Let us know if you could help again this year. We are looking for both inside and outside ring stewards during all 4 days Thursday June 20 through Sunday June 23, 2013.

When you e-mail us back let us know the following:
  • Which days and times you could work Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, all four or any combination of those dates.
  • If you need us to work around any breed(s) that you are showing let us know which ones.
  • If you have a preference between inside the ring or outside the ring stewarding or that you can do either. Also let us know if you can manage a ring on your own as some prefer this.
  • If you have any special ring requests let us know this as well and we will try our best to meet these requests. We cannot make any guarantees, but we will try.

We will keep you away from judges that you might show to later in the show if you tell us what breed(s) you will be showing. We occasionally miss one, so double check any assignment when you get it back so we don’t put you, the judge, or us in a bad spot with a judge or assignment.

As always all stewards can have lunch on us in the hospitality building any days that you steward for us. We are having the same outstanding caterers again and they always bring good food and great desserts.

Once we have determined your assignments, rings and times we will e-mail you back with the specifics and the times you need to be at the show. That will be a couple of days after the judging program is announced.

We will have a brief stewards training class Wednesday June 19 at 6:00 pm in the hospitality building if you require it. This is optional and not required.

Thanks again-we look forward to seeing you again this year. Please forward this e-mail to anyone you think might be able to help.
