Well, Julia Holmes has extended the standard. She completed her trip on the Erie Canal, rowing 350 miles in a homemade rowboat. What a wonderful adventure! An accomplishment she will have all her life. Some people say they are going to do something extraordinary like this but they never get it done. It just remains a dream.
