To Sarah and all- the Plum Bank Marsh  has had a lot of rarities in the recent past including American Avocet, Ruff, Black Neck Stilt, WF Ibis, Whimbrel, etc. Tri-colored heron has been a pretty regular visitor in the last couple of years about this time of year. I birded this by boat last week monitoring my Osprey platforms and didn't find anything except the regulars like Willet and Yellow Legs.
But I would recommend taking a look in the NE corner from 43 Cricket Court-the land owner has invited birders to observe from her property. End of South View Terrace gives great views also as well as scoping from across Town Beach. Great chance on seeing our resident bald Eagles also. Higher tides are best (9-11amSaturday).South Cove Causeway at low tide is great for shore birds.
