Hi, I've just been testing creating a new tenant in CollectionSpace version 2.0, and I met a couple of issues which others may also run into. 1. When deploying the Application.... [INFO] BUILD FAILED [INFO] /home/cpo/svn_workspace/svcapp-2.0/war-entry/build.xml:46: Problem: failed to create task or type hostinfo [INFO] Cause: The name is undefined. The solution was to upgrade ant to version 1.8 (as the ant "hostinfo" task is first available in this version). 2. When logging onto a newly configured tenant : "Password and username do not match". This was fixed by entering a tenant id in the Application config ("local-settings.xml") which matched the new tenant id created in the Service layer configuration. I've updated the wiki instructions (http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/DOC/Creating+your+new+tenant and http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/DOC/Installing+2.0+on+Aptitude+C ompatible+Linux+Distributions ) with details for both of these, so correct me if I've written something misleading. Do we already put in changes to required versions of tools, etc., into the release notes for each release? I know we can't force everyone to read them, but I've tripped over the same kinds of things, and it would be good to note tool changes at each release. This is so helpful Jesse. I was not aware of it and was looking for something like this just the other day. I would also suggest that Heather include a link to this summary from the Release page in the section titled Summary of Work Completed so that we surface this information in both places. I think it provides 1. good closure for the Release page (that lives on the wiki under Current and Past Releases heading) as well as 2. necessary details within the context of documentation that lives in the Documentation wiki (CollectionSpace Release Documentation).
