We have enjoyed our week in Marathon, but I hate sitting around when we are
"cruising."  A couple of days in any area is about right for us to see what
we want before getting "itchy props."  Not being much for the tiki-bar
scene, just hanging about is not for us.  So now we are about to head back
home via a previously untraveled route through Miami and Lake O.

I have been across the Lake O route a couple of times heading to the Bahamas
and once just to Stuart, but the condo canyon part south of Stuart will be
new.

We again enjoyed the route down here via the SW Florida coast including
stops at Tarpon Springs, Jeff Wright's home in Treasure Island, Longboat
Key, Venice, Cabbage Key, Fort Myers Beach, Naples, Everglades City via the
inland pass between Naples and Marco island and thence the Goodland pass.
We had done all this before except the last-mentioned inland portions.

On the west coast, we intend a couple of days in St Petersburg, a place we
have not previously stopped but hear many glowing reports about.
