Mid-morning on 4/8/18, we had several Golden-crowned Kinglets (estimate about 6 -- didn't see all of them at one time) at White Memorial Conservation Center in trees along the swamp forest edge that is south of the Little Pond Boardwalk Trail (actually a gated forest road).  Trail is on Whites Wood Rd.  At about 200 yds along the forest road trail, take a right onto a grassy corridor that leads to a large sandy field.  The Kinglets were in trees on both sides of the grassy corridor.   Bill & Susanna Moorhead 486 Torrington Road Litchfield, CT 06759 Phone & FAX: 860-567-4920 Cell phone: 860-543-1786 Email: whmoorhead@optonline.net
