Subject: Postdoctoral fellowship

New postdoctoral position in integrated social science

The NCAR/NESL Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Division is looking
for a postgraduate scientist to conduct integrated social
science---atmospheric science research on the socioeconomic impacts of
weather and the communication, interpretation, use, and value of weather
forecasts. The successful candidate must have a PhD in a relevant social
science or interdisciplinary field, preferably within the last 5 years.
Examples of relevant fields include (but are not limited to): risk
communication, communication sciences, geography, economics, public
policy, sociology, and psychology.

This position has a two-year term with the possibility of extension.
Relocation benefits will be provided in accordance with UCAR policy.
