In my opinion, anyone contemplating the possibility of defensive use of
firearms should seriously consider the moral, legal and ethical issues
involved, and also be well-trained in their use.  A good course that covers
all these aspects is the entry level course LFI 1 put on by the Lethal Force
Institute in Concord, NH.  I have taken it and in my opinion it is
excellent.  No connection other than customer.

I expect Mr. Strickland will chime in on this subject.  Scott?

Hal

As Hal knows...

I am not a gun nut, I am a competitive combat shooter, who
would not own a home without a firing range.

Just a few comments:

Almost no country will let a (gun crazy) American shoot
one of their countryman to protect your goods... you already
have more then you need,  just ask them!

They may not even allow you to shoot a brother even to
defend your life.

In many countries, if you shoot someone you had better
have shot someone with a gun, not have family in power,
not be a government official... or be willing to spend the
rest of your life in a really bad place.
