I understand why some will be putting candy out.  No complaints there. What I would like to mention is that we stress to all the kids tonight to be considerate and not take so much candy that it runs out too quickly. I put mine in a little Ziploc bags and will just set it out… Should be easy to just take one. I am putting ours in Ziploc bags too (27602 Autumn Terrace). That way there will not be lots of little hands touching each piece of candy. Everyone will just touch their own when they get home and open the Ziploc.
