We would like to extend our most sincere congratulations to ALL of the winners at this year's National Specialty - the big dogs bringing home the big rosettes in the breed ring, the qualifiers in draft, advanced draft and carting who showcased the historical work of our breed, the High In Trial and all the qualifiers and new titlists in the obedience and rally ring who showcased the intelligence and temperament our breed is famous for. The baby puppies who gave us something to smile at during a week of challenging weather, and the junior handlers who gave us something to look forward to for the future of our sport. Huge kudos go out to the Specialty Committee and ALL the volunteers - NCNE and NCA members who came from all over the country to roll up their sleeves and pour coffee, scoop poop, swab DNA and sell raffle tickets. Without their hard work, a showcase of this caliber could never happen.
