Wx:                    Wind W, 5 to 15 kts (10to 30km), sunny
Crew:
Ben, Brad, Kevin, Chip, Jodie, Ryan, Scott, Mikayla & Trenton
Remarks:
Saw a deer coming out of Shearwater.  Saw thee wolves yesterday walking
casually along the beach.  We saw a whale yesterday and several today.
Yesterday we went up Dean Channel to the Mackenzie Cairn, which was put up
where Mackenzie had written on the rocks when he was here 213 years ago.  I
have read about his trip here, and he and his crew were extremely tough,
capable, and brave.  They well deserve the recognition they got.  We could
still see remnants of the original paint.
Today is the first time we have had a full day of sunshine since Tokyo.  It
is a lovely day with fantastic scenery.
