Glacier Bay Acquired by Aequitas Capital and Management Team

Lake Oswego, Ore - October 25, 2007 - Glacier Bay Catamarans, LLC has
announced that it has acquired the operations of Glacier Bay Inc. and
will continue to build catamarans under the Glacier Bay brand.

Glacier Bay Catamarans, LLC is a partnership between Aequitas Capital
Management, an alternative asset management firm based in Lake
Oswego, Ore., and the senior management of Glacier Bay Catamarans,
LLC.

In making this announcement, Dean Samuelson, President and CEO of
Glacier Bay Catamarans, LLC said, "We are very excited about building
upon the twenty year heritage of the Glacier Bay brand. Our new
partnership will provide us with the financial resources to invest in
our people, in innovative new products and in the infrastructure to
deliver outstanding service to our customers. We will remain the
clear global leader in the powered catamaran market."

"Aequitas is delighted to have facilitated this buyout through our
Catalyst private equity fund," said Andy MacRitchie, executive vice
president of Aequitas. "We made the decision to invest in Glacier Bay
Catamarans based on the strong brand and long tradition of

Does anyone have any information if this was a result of financial
trouble at GB or whether it was part of an expansion or capitalization
plan?
