Morning folks: Has anybody's municipality self-certified a higher micro-purchase threshold for their ARPA funds? Normally, that threshold is $10,000. But, 2 CFR 200.320(a)(1)(iv) says that non-federal entities can self-certify a higher threshold (up to $50,000) in a few circumstances. One of those is if the entity undergoes an annual internal risk assessment to "identify, mitigate, and manage financial risks." Our annual audit contains a risk assessment portion, so I'm inclined to think that we could justify certifying a higher threshold. Anyone else done this? Happy day-before-Friday! Wil M.
