As some of you know, Bob Phillips, a list participant, is involved in
the development of a small powercat in the BVI. An update on the

Bob tells me that "the second hull is out of the mold, first one at
400 lb., second at 370, so on target for a boat less gear of less than
1500 and a full fuel and gear of 2700.  We expect to be assembled and
in the water by the end of the month. As soon as we have pictures
we'll get a web site up."

Aventure power catamarans has  moved into the semi-commercial diving and
fishing
charter vessel area as there seems to be more and more of a move on the
charter side than
on the full ownership of vessels.

The Aventure 48.5 is long range vessel, with 2 x 315 motors, 6 single
berths, captain's
cabin, large galley around a U-shaped bar with seats around creating a
friendly atmosphere,
16ft x 16ft fishing and dive platform area, and dive platform.

This well priced power catamaran  is ideal for charter companies or part
ownership groups,
still well furnished with all the necessary equipment for longer charters
