The return of Tacoma’s art-rock My Own Invention! My Own Invention will be hosting their second EXCEPT FOR SOMETIMES album listening party at the Grand Cinema 10AM, Mar 7. Sponsored in part by the Tacoma Artist Initiative Project. It has been our hope to make this music free and accessible to as many Tacoma residents as possible, hence the strange start time (not everyone can do evenings). My Own Invention already hosted and played live at the Valley Sep. 7 and will do one last open house event at the Star Center (date tba).  At the album release party, hear MOI's EXCEPT FOR SOMETIMES (and a live song or 2) and get a swag bag including a CD of the album and other goodies compliments of Evergreen Home Loans The Roffe Team and Katy Smith Real Estate RE/MAX Northwest. First come, first served. In addition, those who appreciate such things may purchase a pink vinyl copy of the album. These look amazing! Quantities are limited.
