DRYCS FUBAR* ODYSSEY 2007

Fleet Underway to BAja Rally

PRESS RELEASE MAY 1, 2007

RESPONSE TO FUBAR ODYSSEY EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

We have been overwhelmed with interest and
applications so far and must cut off the Accepted
Boats (A-List) because we have reached capacity
as of May 1, 2007 with 56 boats, (10% over our
limit to account for cancellations) not counting
the Escort Vessels.  Many of the stops have
limits with space and fuel and the harbormasters
were promised no more than 50 boats for this
first rally.

Do not be discouraged if you are interested in
going on this trip.  Inevitably, unforeseen
things will happen that will cause some boats to
cancel, and we will be able to accommodate many
of the boats on the B-List. The Waiting List
(B-List) has been started and we are encouraging
all interested and eligible boats to apply.
Because the rally is 6 months away, the B-List
will be kept up to date with all the information
provided to the A-List, so that when B-List boats
move up to the A-List, they will be fully
prepared.  If you are on the B-List and are not
accepted to go on the rally, your application fee
will be refunded.

DRYCs partner, The Mexico Tourism Board is
working to expand opportunities for travel in
Mexico for the powerboats signed up for this
rally.  Mexicos Tourism Board has helped us to
expand the fleet to 50+ and is continuing to deal
with handling the facilites that powerboats need
south of the border.

In addition to the Mexican stops, the San Diego
Harbor Police are working with the FUBAR
Committee to berth all the rally boats.  The
rally will depart from San Diego on November 7,
2007, weather permitting.
