Pierre Barrette has stated his position and Tom Jordaan has responded.

I trust we all have learned something from the exchange. In a major
transaction such as purchase of a new boat, both parties should seek
legal help in making certain all arrangements are in order--before
inking the deal.

But now I must request that this discussion thread end here. From
past experience in hosting forums such as this one since 1997, I know
there is a danger that the argument will escalate into unpleasantness.

Besides, a public forum is not the appropriate place for a customer
and a manufacturer to work out their differences and reach a fair
settlement.

If any members has a question or comment, please send a private email
to Pierre Barrette and/or Tom Jordaan.
