Please join us at St. Luke's Memorial Episcopal Church for our final
2019 performance offering quartets from throughout the 18th century,
including one of Telemann's sublime quartets composed in the French
style in 1738 following an invitation from the greatest virtuosos of
Paris, and two of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's unusual and extremely
engaging quartets featuring the harpsichord with flute, viola and cello
(a most unusual combination), along with Joseph Haydn and three of his
lesser-known contemporaries, again featuring the harpsichord.We hope to
see you tomorrow (Sunday) evening!
