I've had my 7061's for about 5 years now. One I used to keep on continuously (fo
r about 3 years). No problems. Given the age of these meters, I expect most of t
hem have thousands of hours on them. I've never heard that they have any reliabi
lity problems.

BTW, if you don't keep them on, they really do take about 24 hours to reach peak
stability. 7081 is the same way. But, as I mentioned before, they hold their ca
libration very well even if not kept on continuously.
