CHB is hosting its 2nd Annual Shoreline Clean Up Day on July 18th from 9:00am to 12:30pm. Meet at Tyee Marine, 5618 Marine View Dr. Tacoma. You can join Bay Patrol Director, Jeff Barney, who will be taking kayakers down the shoreline to retrieve garbage from the water side. *(Experienced kayakers only please, no beginners. Must have your own kayak and safety equipment). Or join the land crew with Restoration Mgr, Jeanine Riss, and help pick up trash from 3 restoration sites along Marine View Dr. Everyone meets back at Tyee Marina at 12:30 for lunch, sponsored by Ivars.
