Visitors:
Thank you to all of our lovely visitors today including the Virginia rail,
muskrat, monarch, and blanding’s turtle. We do appreciate your company :)

Weather:
The weather today was similar to yesterday. The fog did not let up and
there were misty periods. The temperature was pleasant in the mid teens.
Due to the lack of raptors and weather rolling in, we called it a day at 3.

Raptor Observations:
There was only one raptor observed today, a sharp shinned hawk. We left at
3pm due to the lack of birds and incoming rain.

Non-raptor Observations:
Today was also quiet non-raptor wise. We managed to spot the Virginia rail
in the same spot as yesterday which was a treat. There were a good amount
of kinglets flitting around the trees. Tree swallows are still present
flying above the tower catching insects. Great egrets still remain in a
large group on the marsh.

Predictions:
Tomorrow looks to be a bit clearer than the last few days, with similar
moderate temperatures. The wind looks to be southwest, which may bring more
hawks that didn’t migrate today.
