Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes

Great anchorage, one of the good ones I've been in.
Special thanks to sailboats Pogo Peli and Carina who heard me on the radio
as I was approaching Fulton Lock yesterday. Was going to anchor ABOVE the
lock but they called me and said C'MON DOWN to this anchorage.
We draw 4ft. Water here is 12 ft, protected, no loggerheads or stumps, good
holding. I back down on the anchor at 1100 RPM and it held rock solid.
Completely protected in this cove from all barge traffic. I highly recommend
it.
We came here in one day from the start of the TennTom (Aqua Yacht Harbor)
leaving 7:15am, arriving here 5:pm and going through 4 locks.
