Music Fans, The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra will be doing an interview and performance this Sunday February 18th at The Museum of Glass in Tacoma WA. I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass and Jacques Willis on drums and we'll be performing some brand new music. Our guest for the interview will be long time KNKX host and luminary, the great Robin Lloyd. We'll be discussing her vast career in radio and music. The interview and performance can be attended live or online via livestream. The livestreams can be viewed on Facebook or on The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra's Youtube Channel. She's a member of the Jazz Education Network and the Jazz Journalists Association. She recently retired from KNKX, where she was a contributor for many years. She has hosted Jazz on the Grooveyard, All Blues, Morning Jazz, Afternoon Jazz, Evening Jazz, and developed the very popular Jazz Caliente program.
