For those of you who work with smaller municipalities - do you have any good
suggestions for convincing residents to complete the LMI survey? One of my
municipalities hasn't been able to apply for a CDBG grant because they
cannot get the responses required for the LMI survey.
They are considering a promotion such as entering the names of people who've
completed the survey in a drawing for a nice prize (like a Yeti), a credit
toward the citizen's water bill, or even a cash "thank you" for each
completed survey. (I don't think the cash would be appropriate, but that's
the level of desperation!)
Any suggestions or experience appreciated!
