Surface and Lisa Kinoshita, Thursday June 21, 6-8 at Minka. (The show is up through June 30 but the artists will be on hand for gallery night, so come on down). Surface earned a masters degree from Yale, and while studying at the Ivy League also spent five years on the regional bullriding circuit. These photographs record that experience. Lisa Kinoshita evaluates the West in a new installation, "We the People"; plus, "Good Luck", a collaborative project with Montana prison inmates; and documentary photography shot in rural areas.
