Leaded components are easiest (the bridge uses Kelvin connections) and I have the proper Kelvin clips (they use o-rings to close the clips,  not metal springs).

For SMD parts, it is best to solder leads to them.  I have some SMD tweezers,  but they put the Kelvin connections a few inches from the tips... fine for larger values,  probably not too good for low picofards.
