Budget: $4,000 monthly stipend for 14 months, plus material costs
Applicants must: reside in the US; relocate and commit an average of 30 hours per week if selected; be 18 years or older; be an individual artist not an artist team

Call Summary
The City of Tacoma is seeking an individual to act as an Artist in Residence (AiR) for 14 months, November 1, 2017 - December 31, 2018. The AiR will be embedded within the City, and will work collaboratively with staff to find creative ways to address homelessness and related issues in Tacoma. This residency is both proactive and responsive - the artist will be expected to equally address issues of Creative Site Reclamation and issues of Creative Prevention and Community Engagement.
