Tommy, I had a discussion with Jeff Hummel at the Seattle Boat Show. He has reviewed a number of AIS recievers (can be reviewed on www.panbo.com). Based on his positive experience, I'm buying a Miltech dual channel reciever. There is a single channel reciever also available for less than $200.
