Ben, I have the tank watch monitors for both the freshwater and holding
tanks. They work fine and let us know the tank "situations' at a glance.
My only beef with the monitors is the lack of wire protection over the
point where the monitors enter the tanks. They are left exposed and
could be damaged when you use these compartments. This season I am
installing a small protective cover over them. In regard to the cook
top, I have the Propane units and really don' t have a problem with it.
There is redundant safety features installed by PDQ and it works fine.
Sometimes it can be a bit fickle to light but we like to cook with gas
and we are used to this at home as well. I am anal about turning off the
tanks after cooking each meal. The tanks are located in the fly bridge
port compartment designed to hold two propane tanks. Before cooking and
after we eat, I just turn them off. You can also turn off the electric
solenoid switch in the galley if you don't want to go outside. If you
are still worried about the propane, get a propane detector and install
it in the boat. On a different note I did have Dick and Carol order me
the Cushions for the outsides seats. They are a nice addition.  Sandy

Thanks again to everyone who have helped me with my questions on
outfitting my new PDQ.  The more answers I get, the more questions I
come up with.

Here are two more:

Is the PDQ capable of handling an Open Array instead of Radome for the
RayMarine RADAR?

Can you tell me if you have have any problems with the windlass, or if
you installed something other their normal unit.

Thanks in advance,

Ben
